Good Eggs is a major proponent and practitioner of fair chance hiring, which strives to have employers consider applicants’ qualifications without the prejudice of criminal history. Using Checkr’s pre- and post-adverse functions helps them meet their fair chance hiring goals while staying compliant. By filtering out charges that are not relevant to the position, Good Eggs eliminates bias and brings in more fair chance candidates. 

Good Eggs regularly holds 40 candidate interviews each week and moves up to 20 candidates into the background check process. After a recent move to a larger fulfillment center, Good Eggs also needed to staff a space 4x as large as before. To scale up quickly, they held a large job fair and conducted over 350 interviews in one weekend. 

With Checkr integrated into their applicant tracking system (ATS), Fountain, Good Eggs can onboard and hire at volume without sacrificing speed. The integration allows them to move multiple applicants into the background check stage at once, right from their ATS. A streamlined and frictionless onboarding process means Good Eggs has more time to focus on candidate experience, compliance, and enhancing productivity.
