Tim Craycroft Joins Checkr as Chief Product Officer

Today we are welcoming Tim Craycroft as our new Chief Product Officer! In his role, Tim will lead the entire technology organization at Checkr, including the Product, Design, Engineering, and Trust and Security teams. Tim joins us in our Denver office where he will continue to build and strengthen the Checkr community in Colorado.

Tim spent the last fourteen years as an executive leader at Amazon, where he helped build the company’s Advertising business and technology stack for brands and publishers, and a large product, engineering, and operations organization over the last ten years. Prior to Amazon, Tim held engineering roles at Apple and Netscape. 

“What drew me to Checkr was the company’s tech-first focus on reinventing a fundamental component of employment, one that hasn’t really changed in decades,” said Tim. “I’m excited to build on top of the world’s best background check technology and help employers hire and retain talent—with efficiency and fairness in mind.”

Checkr is first and foremost a product-driven company. In the past year, we’ve worked alongside our customers to deliver a range of new products and features, from Continuous Check and Checkr Health to Checkr ETA. As CPO, Tim will continue to emphasize this pace of innovation and find new ways to bring even more value to our customers.
