SAN FRANCISCO, September 24, 2026 – Checkr, the AI-powered verification platform for high-stakes decisions, today announced a new partnership with Workday to integrate and automate income and employment verification directly for eligible employers with U.S. employees.

Through the partnership, employers that opt in can make verified employment and income information available through Checkr. The integration expands Checkr's verification network, enabling millions of employees to verify their employment and income instantly when applying for a job, a loan, an apartment, or a government benefit—without adding work for HR teams or requiring employees to track down documents. The partnership builds on Checkr's continued investment in verification, further strengthening its capabilities across tenant, mortgage, employment, and government use cases.

Employment and income verification plays a critical role in many high-stakes decisions. In mortgage lending, for example, it helps determine whether a borrower qualifies for a loan, making timely access to that information critical to keeping the process moving. In most cases, Fannie Mae requires lenders to verify a borrower's employment and confirm it within 10 business days prior to the note date. By connecting Checkr with Workday, employers can reduce the burden of responding to individual verification requests while giving lenders faster access to the data they need to keep underwriting moving.

“Whether someone is buying a home, starting a new job, or accessing a government benefit, proving where they work and what they earn shouldn't be the step that slows them down,” said Daniel Yanisse, co-founder and CEO at Checkr. “By partnering with Workday, we're making verified employment and income information available instantly while taking manual work off employers' plates. Ultimately, that means people can move through important moments faster, without having to track down information themselves.”

“Employers shouldn't have to spend time tracking down information that's already part of their systems, especially when employees need it to move forward on important life decisions,” said Nancy Weitl, vice president, HCM product management at Workday. “Together with Checkr, we're reducing the paperwork around income and employment verification and helping employers deliver a simpler experience for their people.”

Workday customers will have the ability to verify income and employment through Checkr as part of the newly announced Workday Total Benefits solution in late October.
