Checkr welcomes Robert Kaskel to lead People and Talent as the new Chief People Officer.
Today, we are excited to announce that Robert Kaskel is joining the Checkr Executive team as Chief People Officer. In this role, Robert will lead Checkr’s talent strategy to create an exceptional employee experience, champion a high performance culture, and advance our mission to build a fairer future.
Robert is an HR veteran with over 23 years of experience across people operations, talent acquisition, learning & development, people analytics, and total rewards. He most recently served as the CPO for Remitly (NASDAQ: RELY), a mission-focused company that helps immigrants send money home to their loved ones. He helped grow, develop, and scale the People team to support Remitly as it rapidly grew from 800 to 3,000 employees. Before Remitly, Robert led HR teams for Amazon, Microsoft, and Mattel.

Robert lives in the Seattle area with his wife Julie and their five children. He joins at an exciting time to progress Checkr’s culture of excellence, high performance, diversity, and engagement.
